About this piece
Three columns instead of four legs, which is what lets the top overhang at both ends with nothing under the corners. Each column is folded from sheet into a tapering hexagon and finished in brass, so the facets catch the light at different angles as you walk past and the base reads as lighter than the stone it carries. The top is stone, cut and edged to size. Weight is the point of a table like this: it is heavy, and it does not move when you lean on it.
Wipe with a damp cloth. Stone stains, so wipe spills rather than leaving them, and use a coaster under anything oily. The brass will darken with handling, which is the finish doing what brass does.
