About this piece
The simplest thing that holds a top up: two square legs raked apart and welded under one flat plate, which is what the top bolts to. Sold one at a time rather than as a pair, because how far apart they go depends on the top, and a long bench takes three. The rake is the whole design: it puts the feet outside the line of the top, so the table does not tip when somebody leans on the end of it.
Wipe with a dry cloth. Touch up a chip before it has a chance to rust.
